  • You’ve wanted to try blacksmithing, but haven’t had time

Weekday Blacksmithing Classes – Details

Who is this for? People interested in blacksmithing with weekday availability. Age minimum: 14 with parent/guardian present.

What is it? A complete introduction to blacksmithing. We will talk about forges, anvils, what metal to use, hammers, and tongs while you create your first blacksmithing project.

If you’re interested in blacksmithing as a hobby or side business, all questions are welcome.

*This class can lead to additional classes and projects if you are interested.

Blacksmithing - Brown County Forge

When is the single session class? Classes are held on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday with two time options: 1 PM – 3 PM  -or-  3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Where are weekday blacksmithing classes held? At Brown County Forge’s shop in Bloomington, Indiana. The address is:

The shop is located on the back lot of an old lumberyard. Full on-site directions are provided after class booking.
